Terms of service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Terrazzo, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You're responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for activity that happens under it. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at hello@terrazzo.travel immediately.

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we're required by law to disable.

You agree not to use Terrazzo to:

• Violate any law or infringe anyone else's rights.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract bulk data from the Service in ways that aren't supported by our public APIs.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware, exploiting vulnerabilities, or overwhelming our infrastructure.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or impersonate others.
• Resell, white-label, or otherwise commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the places you save, the trips you build, the notes you write, and any other content you create in Terrazzo ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, and process Your Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service and to provide it to you.

We don't use Your Content for advertising, don't sell it, and don't use it to train general-purpose AI models. Specific handling of personal data is described in our privacy policy.

The Service offers optional integrations with third-party providers, including Google Calendar. When you connect such an account, you authorize us to access and use the data described at consent time and in our privacy policy. You can revoke access at any time from the provider's account settings or by disconnecting inside Terrazzo.

Use of those third-party services is also subject to the provider's own terms. We aren't responsible for the provider's acts or omissions.

The Service — including the software, design, brand, editorial content we publish, and aggregated data — is owned by Terrazzo and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the Service to you. You may use the Service only as these terms permit.

The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations, extracted reservations, place data, or AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terrazzo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold Terrazzo harmless from any claim, damage, loss, or expense arising from your violation of these terms, your use of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party right.

Either of us may terminate this agreement at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice before they take effect. Continued use after changes go live constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
